Swimming in the sea positively sucks. Sea water is just evil-tasting stuff that gets worse if it gets into your eyes. Therefore I tried to avoid dunking my head underwater. Unfortunately that meant I was swimming like a lame duck and half drowning. I wouldn't have been surprised if the lifeguard hollered at me asking if I was in trouble. Thankfully what happened to me was nothing worse than feeling a little wozzy after getting out of the water. Oh man I just went on and ranted and whined again :(

Me, Alex and Leon played 3 on 3 street b-ball with Zheng Yu and 2 other guys. At first it was 3 on 2 until this super-ripped guy in too-small speedos came up and wanted to play. Zheng Yu was more than happy to have him on his team haha..I wonder what ulterior motives he had. At first we were getting our asses served to us but later we bucked up and in a race to 7 points we managed to go 5-2 up. We didnt win in the end but I considered it a good game seeing that me and Alex don't usually ball and we were up against 3 seasoned pros.

Later when we chucked the frisbee around it was again quite funny cos when you throw one to a girl, there is 90% chance that it will:

1. Fly over her
2. Fly past her
3. Fly just out of reach
4. Swerve away at the last second
5. Fly into her cos she wasn't looking
6. Float perfectly only to be missed with a bad catch

With some luck, if the planets are aligned correctly, if the wind is blowing in the right direction, if the horoscope gives a good prediction, and the weather is fine, the girl might just be paying attention and if there is a fool-proof pass made, she just MIGHT succeed in making the catch. If so this is a cause for jubilation and wild celebration. Throw a party and bring out the drinks, cos it is certainly a rare and momentous occasion.

When all was said and done, we ended up at Taka basement where all the food is. A word of caution: Venezia is evil. Its so good its bad. Me, Samuel and Jeremy made do with a scoop each while the girls indulged in a 750ml tub. The ratio was all wrong. The whole tub when filled with thick rich ice cream was just radiating guilt, gluttony and self-indulgence. Perhaps there was some envy by us guys too but we happy to have taken the hard road away from temptation. Our wallets may have been lighter cos the 750ml tub is more economical..but our weighing scales won't die a horrible death should we step on them anytime soon haha.
