alright it starts at tanglin mall where once again there is a giant snowman. the thing looks hideous but i guess they can't be bothered to change it..they use it every year haha and for chinese new year it gets a little spruce-up to look like the god of fortune or something. cheapskates haha.

the general theme this year is christmas in the tropics so there's a warm feeling to all the decorations. Lots of red and green everywhere..sorta feels like some kind of forest canopy over your head. Now, the decorations really kick in at the marriott hotel where the erp gantry thingy has been draped with these huge red and gold ribbons which look kinda odd. But there are these white doves that light up and flash so it looks like they're flying..nice touch.

across the road there is wisma with simple lights on the glass facade. guess you can't do too much otherwise it would spoil the clean sleek look of the building. moving on, taka has uber-cool neon blue mini-christmas trees hanging from their street lamps. They are seriously damn cool. They also have a huge tree inside the main building.

further down. you will notice that paragon's tree sucks. its just a green cone with red balls on it haha. with so many high-class ultra pricy shops there you would expect more from them haha. next you'll see that the heeren is having an adidas christmas. there is a gigantic 10-foot long soccer boot with 10 statues painted in football jersey colours. the boot is damn cool man..predator absolute in white and gold..someone give it to me for christmas quick. everytime i see it in the store i'm tempted to grab it and run for my life. too bad they only display the right boot in the store..the only way i can get a pair is if i cart off the mannequin on display. so if ya see anyone hauling ass outta an adidas store with a mannequin in tow, it'd probably be me :p

as for the decorations, nothing much left to say. centrepoint has become a candy shop with multicolourrainbowhuedm&m'sconfections on display. next time i gotta go out with someone who has a camera and i'll splash photos of me grinning like an idiot and pointing at the decorations. and if anyone is willing to sponsor me i'll even dress in red & green haha
